Calling all whisk-takers! Put your inner chef to the test at the 5th season of the very popular Walmer Park Kitchen Maestro Competition. Fasten your aprons and sharpen your knives, enter now and you could be one of the contestants competing in this thrilling series of head to head live cook-offs. WIN PRIZES TO THE VALUE OF R50 000!

What's happening when?

For five consecutive Saturdays from 8 July - 6 August 2017, Walmer Park Shopping Centre will once again host a series of live head to head cook-off’s in the Centre Court. Each cook-off will see six contestants use their own fully equipped cooking station and creatively prepare a dish challenge set out by Head Chef Dewald Hunter. Each week the top two (as judged by our panel of judges) will proceed to the semi-final which is to be held on Saturday, 5 August 2017. The top two semi-finalists will then participate in the sizzling head to head final cook-off on Sunday, 6 August 2017 with the winner being crowned our fifth season KITCHEN MAESTRO! Prizes for all participants and fantastic audience giveaways at each cook-off!

How do I enter?

1: Complete the entry form (available from the Information Kiosk or download a copy by clicking on the link below)
2: Prepare any meal that you would consider your signature dish.
3: Write a brief explanation of the ingredients and cooking method used and attach a suitable photograph of the   prepared dish.

Submit your entry by either dropping it off at the Walmer Park Shopping Centre  Information Kiosk or emailing it to dbloem@growthpoint.co.za

DEADLINE :  Please note that the deadline for entries is every Wednesday at 12pm for that coming weekend’s cook-off.
