Face of Walmer Park 2014

The Face of Walmer Park’s glittering gala event took place at 6pm on Friday night the 24 May in the Walmer Park Shopping Centre Promotions arena. The lovely Luzaan Preston was announced the first Face of Walmer Park to an enthusiastic jam packed audience!  The top 3 was rounded off with Megan Felkers coming in second and Maryke de Beer in third place.

The gorgeous glam girls took to the stage – opening the show in summer 2013/2014 swimwear from RVCA. The judges had a decidedly tough task of picking a top 5 after they came out in daywear from RVCA and The Hip Shop, glam wear from George Sorenson followed by glitzy evening wear from Don Marco.
 
Melissa De Bruyn-Smith, Shannon Lee Kahn, Megan Felkers, Luzaan Preston and Maryke de Beer made up the top 5 girls who had to face on stage questions presented to them by the renowned entertainment personality Buli G.  The top 5 handled their questions with zeal and had the crowd in awe while the judges’ scores were tallied up to determine the top 3 winners. The stunning Tegan Goldman walked away as the Public’s favorite finalist as determined by the online voting poll on the Walmer Park website.
 
Audience members were pleasantly surprised with fun give aways which saw 3 lucky spectators walk away with top of the line Polo handbags from George Sorenson.  There were also various prizes ranging from Mandela Medallions from The Scoin Store, Ruby Tickets to the Kings vs Cheetahs game, facials from Placecol and jewellery valuation certificates from Francarlo Designer Goldsmith given to 100 seated audience members.

The top 3 Face of Walmer Park winners and finalists have already been spoilt by sponsors such as Ultimate Stylists and The Lion Roars Group and will continue to enjoy a hoard of prizes by sponsors such as Don Marco, George Sorenson, Francarlo Designer Goldsmith, RVCA, Ritters, Shoe Fetish, The Hip Shop, Vision Works, Pro Designer Photographers, Jenni Gault international Jewellery Design and Sophisticate Models.
