What's happening when?
For five consecutive Saturdays from 9 July to 21 August 2016, Walmer Park Shopping Centre will once again host a series of live head to head cook-off competitions in Centre Court. Each week will see five contestants use their own fully equipped cooking station and creatively prepare their dish using our mystery box of ingredients.
Each weekly winner (as judged by our panel of judges) will proceed to the semi-final which is to be held on Saturday, 20 August 2016. The two winning contestants from the semi-final will then participate in the sizzling head to head final cook-off on Sunday, 21 August 2016 with the winner being crowned our fourth season KITCHEN MAESTRO WINNER!
How do I enter?
- Complete the entry form on the adjacent page.
- Prepare any meal that you would consider your signature dish.
- Write a brief explanation of the ingredients and cooking method used (in the space provided) and attach a suitable photograph of the prepared dish.
- Entries van be submitted via email to: dbloem@growthpoint.co.za or dropped off at the Information Kiosk at Walmer Park Shopping Centre.
Please note that the deadline for entries is every Wednesday at 12pm for that coming weekend’s cook-off.
Cook-off dates:
(Cook-offs start at 11am in the Centre Court at Walmer Park Shopping Centre. (Contestants to be available from 10am)
